hoping Alan's leg is better! he is rather handsome!
Thanks. He's feeling a bit better we think. He's turned into "I love you" cat, and seeking a damn good fussing. Where normally he's "I permit you to be in my presence" cat. So he's clearly still ill and his leg is still swollen.Getting him to take his antibiotics is hard work though. So far the only success we have had is crushing the tablet, and smearing it onto a bit of ham. We tried chicken, with the tablet embedded whole, but he managed to separate the chicken and tablet in his mouth and spat out the tablet. We tried smearing the crushed tablet on chicken, but he refused to eat that at all. He just about accepted chicken smeared with tablet, wrapped in ham.
Any suggestions on how to get the tablet into him easier (and involving less ham which I don't think is too good for him) appreciated! (I'd suggest we stick it up his bum but I don't think the OH would be keen)
