When we decided which dog to get, my first criteria was not looking gay when out walking it!

Second was a dog that carried it's own stick
Third was it would stick it's head out the car window when driving

The one we got (Eddie the Beagle) ticks all these boxes

We just forgot to specify a dog that comes back when you want it to!

Perhaps you need to get a decent sized pooch like a Rottie to balance it out?

Maybe you should go buy a german sheperd or similar without consulting the other half and leave them together while you guys go out, with any luck the GSD will eat that weird hairless thing

Hmmm, would have saved me £35.00 getting my spaniel clipped today if I had one of these instead...!

We had a beagle. Lovely thing. No sense of direction whatsoever. Smelt a rabbit and gone.
Fortunately our other dog was a border collie. Bright as a button. When the beagle went AWOL we sent the collie to find it. Which it always did. Only one day it returned with the beagle ........ And three sheep! yikes

The good news is that they rarely bite as most of their teeth fall out (not joking).
I suppose it could gum you viciously.
