Have been told her soft ears are very Saluki like, which they are just not got the hair.

Rest of her who knows as with a lot of Lurchers, was a stray found beat up years ago.

Not that you would know now mind.

The pupper above is gorgeous cloud9

That looks like a pre-zoomie coiled spring pose. Just waiting for you to move a millimetre.

It's take your dog to work day at our place today, unfortunately I only go to the office when they make me so my two haven't got the chance to go, just as well really, they are properly cute (IMHO) and I wouldn't get any work done.

Every day should be take your dog to work day.

We had ours at work and they were great for customer relations

The collie was more security, but she did have special customers!

Gaston does!

Customers love him and when he’s barking in the back he sounds much bigger than he is!

Another 5km walk today with Buzz, and we took the other foster Kinder with us. For an old girl she loves to get out and run around. That was the first time I walked them both like that together but they were great smile

All tired out and behaving nicely now.

Yes, at least they generally recover well once they are looked after. I suspected she was a grey or lurcher. You can get smooth coated salukis as well as feathered - I've had crosses of both.

First post in this thread. Have been busying myself with work as not having a great time mentally recently. In the care home I work in I created a person centred advent. Many residents suffer dementia so I spoke to them about their childhood and favourite Christmas presents or what they always wanted but never got.

One chap wanted a dog. So I made him dog owner for the afternoon, bought some dog treats and a small cuddly toy dog with an adoption certificate. This was the beginning of December

Alfie was fantastic, very well behaved and gentle. Not only was this good for the chap with dementia, my Mum was happy as Alfie was my Dad’s dog and he misses him greatly so this was enriching for him too. He’s definitely going to be coming back as the other residents (and staff) all fell in love.

As for the gift recipient since this day he has his little puppy dog tucked in his shirt every day without fail.

If any of you have care homes near and a spare hour please call and ask if they’d be ok with you visiting with your dog. It would be very much appreciated.
