Awesome looking dogs... bit like the “wolf” that’s posted on here. Ideal zombie apocalypse dogs
Did you set out for that specific breed as I’d never heard of it...although I’m not a particularly knowledgable benchmark.
Yes saw mad 2 max 30 plus years ago. Said when I could have dog again it would be one of those. He stole the movie.Did you set out for that specific breed as I’d never heard of it...although I’m not a particularly knowledgable benchmark.
Nearly bought a dinky di t shirt the other day lol
Yes I am obsessed
This is the only place I’d admit I’m obsessed with my dog...
I was watching (not through choice) the national tv awards and there was a big section of a program that Paul O’Grady does about dogs. I wasn’t aware of it but I’ve catching up with it and like anyone on this thread I’d be same as him (albeit slightly less camp...I hope) and end up with house full of dogs.
Anyone else struggle with films that have scenes with dogs coming to harm? I can’t watch ‘I am legend’ and I skip a scene in John Wick... I can watch a film where 20’000 people get slaughtered in the most hideous ways and not flinch. I hear the theme to ‘littlest hobbo’ and my bottoms lip goes all wobbly.
I can't watch any film where any animal, let alone a dog, dies!!! Still struggle sometimes over having had to make the decision to have both our bunnies PTS!

Yes, Yes and Yes! I was completely traumatised by I am Legend.
I'm the same with TWD and horses, and tigers!

Can any of the PH dog fans identify this breed for me (from last night's Death in Paradise) - my OH has fallen in love and wants to know the breed to see if it's a good running buddy candidate for the future:
Belgian shepherds are fantastic dogs but they can be very sensitive when young. If you go ahead please carry out lots of research.
Not my dogs but they do give me an excuse to post here. A couple of Cambodian "village" dogs from yesterday. They sat and watched me eat lunch and, being the big softie that I am, I eventually gave in to their beautiful eyes, stripped all of my chicken off the bone and fed it to them in bite size pieces.

A long way off yet, but it will only be once we (early) retire, so can spend plenty of time with / training / exercise, plus OH wants a companion for long (10/15/20 mile) runs - not many breeds capable of that, so we will have to put the effort / research in.If you go ahead please carry out lots of research.

There is a member here who uses his dog running perfect breed for that.
