Have you ever tried playing rough with him before sliding him across a smooth floor on his back? I tried it once with my mums EBT/Staff cross, it's the canine equivilent of crack cocaine but a bit more 'morish'

And his current favourite toy... I’m quite convinced he thinks he’s got the perfect disguise as a big flower so I won’t notice him digging up the borders..
