Great dogs. A neighbour had two for years, really friendly and energetic, i loved them.

Always loved springers but Mrs3man won't let me have one because she thinks they are 'nutty'. Truth be told she's lazy and does'nt like the idea of walking the thing.

They shouldn't really pull, it's not been trained properly. I have a 48kg dog who can be walked by a 7 year old girl.
Hmmmm, cant really comment on whether he has been trained well or not as I don't know the owner particularly well. In his defence, the house is about 20 yards from the beach and he obviously knows which way to go when he goes out the front door!!

Buy a show springer and not a working spring and that should help smile honest.

They are. My mate had one who would just run at full tilt into trees. Not sure why he didn't feel he should move/turn - he had a lot of faith that the trees would move.......

But yes they are energetic feckers - ideally you want a fair bit of land to run/work them...
