I pay approx £20/month for each of my cats for the £12000 limit with Petplan, I wouldn't consider anything lower now having had approx 9K of treatment for one last year when he was hit by a car.
If going with Petplan send me an email, I have some vouchers for two months free for you and I get M&S vouchers.

Yep, our dog is insured at the moment. We've had a couple of £500 bills for her, but we paid those rather than going through insurance and finding she's without cover for certain things later on.

That's when you feel lucky to have the NHS. Wonder how much the flu jab would be if you had to pay for it. London prices will be. Doubt you'd pay that much in smaller towns (though not much different here in Brizzle!)
