This is Dora, she's 3. We got her from a breeder who is moving to a flat and can only take 2 cats with her.
She was to be a companion for Snowy, who still misses his brother, Tiny. Unfortunately we've just found out Snowy has a growth on his larynx frown

Is this a submission to There is no cat in this image? biggrin

Joking aside, so sorry to hear about Snowy, I hope it turns out to be treatable.

smile She's spent the last 2 there, you can just about see 2 ears and eyes. Just runs away if we catch her in the open. She did actually let me get close enough for her to headbutt me today though. Will try and get a better photo.

I asked about an operation but the vet didn't recommend it, also said chemo wouldn't be fair, as he's almost 18, so just on steroids to help improve his last few weeks/months.

Hope all your fur friends are keeping cool. Frozen LickELix are a good treat for them as are wet towels.

Our Tigerlily cat doesn’t seem that bothered about our fostered dog hovering near her.

She did open her eyes once but couldn’t be a*sed

I'm by far the most superior being in the house.

We're considering something similar to those shelves, as one of ours favourite spot is sunbathing on the shelf around the lantern in our house!

We lost our one eyed Greek girl a few weeks ago (she had Cancer, and it was the right time to PTS) so have adopted a new boy from Cats Protection. Meet Alfie, he was Jerome, but we thought that made him sound like a pornstar!

He's an ex-stray, has a missing tooth or teeth, and is on a Renal diet for life due to Kidney Disease. Not the prettiest boy. He makes up for it in charm though, he is the sweetest character ever!
It was this along with the fact that I thought he'd not be quick to be re-homed that steered us to choose him.

Settling in nicely, and daily is getting braver exploring, and tolerating the three dogs!

Thank you Vasco/Ace. Although with a mouth that looks like Picasso drew it I'm not sure handsome is the best description laugh

We're keeping an eye on this fella at the same place, one of the other two we were considering. Like Alfie he is on a Renal only diet, so if he's in too long it makes sense to also give him a home.

Hah! So far it's not been an issue, there's enough set back on the staircase for it to be OK. I did place a temporary "bridge" up which I managed to drop onto my better half's nose when I was putting it up...I wasn't popular! Hence the cat shelves.

Hope we don't have to move anything large upstairs anytime soon mind

love He is so smiley. And rightly so. I hope he brings you all the goodness you two deserve.

Congratulations Alfie. Have the best life.
