Waffles looks lovely. You've mentioned there that he gets as much attention as possible, I wonder if he can strongly pick up your scent on the bed and just finds it comforting to combine it with his.
Have you tried moving the litterbox into the bedroom? Unpleasant, I know, but just to see if he uses it in there?
Might give that a try, but he is happily using the normal litter tray and the kids beds do not get the same treatment as ours fortunately.Have you tried moving the litterbox into the bedroom? Unpleasant, I know, but just to see if he uses it in there?
Aging kitties seem to hide problems extremely well. Presh was at the vets for her 4 month Hyperthyroidism check this morning, which all went well (still adding on a bit of weight) but now they're worried about possible anaemia and also muscle wastage aroung her back end, which they think may be arthritis. She can be a bit unsteady at times, but can still jump up on the beds OK and she's heading for 18 in June. so it's difficult to know what's just aging and what may be a problem. they're such a worry!!!

Yep, we had no idea our Snowy had the gastric lymphoma other than he vomits fairly often, but there are obviously many reasons for that.Regarding your cat, if your vet hasn't already suggested it then ask about Solensia - it's a fairly new medication used for the treatment of joint pain in animals. It's an injection administered once ever four weeks at the vet. Our Snowy has the same condition, it's perked him up noticeably.

Issue with solensia is it can cause them to scratch their eyes out as it's an injection it takes ages to loose it's affectivity so fingers crossed if you use it they don't have that side affect
No side effects observed for our chap, he's had three shots so far.8bit said:

Hello all.
We've currently been giving our boy Ragdoll of two (see below) Beaphar Calming Treats daily, as we have an elderly (and beautiful) female Birman with whom he likes to play/pester/attack. However, it appears that they've either stopped producing these treats altogether or have halted as they're not in stock anywhere.
Does anyone else use calming tablets/treats that can recommend an alternative?
Cheers.

Is the odd one out from a naming convention so first or last?
We've had a Donut, a Flapjack, and a Truffle before Mrs BC decided that we needed to chose more "normal" names so last two were Stanley and Elsie
