Cracking pics Pva!

Presume he has seen something to pounce on in the last pic ?
thanks, believe it or not though that photoshop is not to far from the truth hehe she bounces across the fields like this, springing straight from one bounce to another, almost like she's is actually on a space hopper, its bizarre to see, it culminates in a flat sprawl landing when she think she has whatever it is, sometimes she gets lucky but 9/10 nothing.

This is Max, an eight year old jack russell cross (dunno what's he crossed with though!). Had him since he was a tiny six month pup. Rehomed him from the local cat and dog home after he escaped an abusive home and was found wandering. Still makes me angry now.

And here he is wearing his souvenier from the Stelvio Pass... smile

So, I lost max this evening.

He developed a heart murmur six months ago and has been on medication for that and further medication for the side effects to the first lot. He's periodically had breathing problems but has always recovered okay. This morning we knew something was different and he got progressively more laboured until he passed away quietly this afternoon.

RIP little fella. He might have been small but he had a big personality and is going to leave a huge gap in our lives. Almost twelve years we've had him. Worse bit is I keep going looking for him; don't think it will sink in for a while. frown

Meet Darcy.... Ten weeks old, picked up yesterday. Hopefully our 13year old Jack Russell's gonna love her as much as we do already.

Thanks for the sentiments, folks, means a lot. I've been reallly surprised how upset my friends and family have been to hear too - didn't appreciate how much he meant to everyone else too. As someone pointed out, he had a happy life after a stty start and we just have to be grateful we knew him. Doesn't make it much easier though and i'll miss him dearly - he's been with me through thick and thin. The only silver lining I can see is that it was natural - the idea of having to make the decision to get him put down has haunted me since he got ill. Kinda glad in a way that it happened like this in his own home.

Anyway, enough maudlin thoughts from me - don't want to derail the thread. Cheers again.

offshorematt2 - so sorry. Max will have had a great life with you. These things take time to sink in and you go through stages of grief.

Ok, but iPhones and indoor lighting in the evenings aren't very flattering.

That's Winter, Summer and Christmas fashions.

Here's Bobby, it's my girlfriend's dog, he's a rescue dog, and we think he's a staffy/lab cross. Such a lovely dog, stubborn bugger and really lazy at times. LOVES car rides though!
