people like me probably don't help with dogs that do the whole excited jumping thing, I get down to their level and revel in the licks, nips, hugs, jumps......
so do i! who wouldn't want that! lolit's just training them to do certain things that may help them/save them or not upset someone else.
teddys talent is finding people who are afraid of dogs, he just seems to know

Thanks. Went really well actually, and given us things to work on.
Can i ask what you need to do/change? Teddy's worse trait, jumping up when he's excited, we were told to concentrate on one comand, something he does well, and keep saying it.
He can only do one thing at a time, so will, with practice do it.
So we use sit, and when he goes to jump up, to greet, we just repeat it.
Slowly over the weeks and months, it's gone from saying it 50+ times, to maybe 3 or 4 and him actually doing it
Jumping up is an issue with have the younger one. He gets over excited and jumps up at people. Haven’t managed to work on that yet.

This is Milo, we've had this little doofus for 4 years now and are his third family. He has a few quirks, such as hates the lead coming off ( a piece of cake to put on, but a length of rope does the trick and once home The Lad just lets go of one end). Very affectionate and guards the street never mind the house!

Thats the joy of a dog, they dont judge your stupidity, jhust want to have fun.......
So Arch had to go to the vets today to remove a growth on his gum that was forever bleeding. The vet said it would also mean he’d lose a tooth as well. Anyways, the vet carried out two successful operations today: one to remove the growth and tooth and one to remove £580 for the privilege.
It’s not just Arch who’s not quite himself at the moment…
