13 miles on the Test Way for Chewie today



He deserves his sofa time tonight

On holiday for the next week, and had to leave Maple in kennels. Been 36 hours and missing her already, so been flicking through some old pictures of her as well as those on here.

Before we picked her up, so probably about 5 weeks old here. (September 2018).

This is Cece. She is an Irish Guide Dog brood bh, about 20 months old.

She is staying with us until Wednesday evening and has settled in beautifullly.

Everywhere we go, the comment is "you dont see many of them anymore" unless of course, you turn up to a local meet and theres at least 20 Airedale Terriers running around.

Our Alfie is the middle, walking the line looking for somebody else to run riot with. What a great bunch of dogs (and owners).

You'll probably note that Sprocket is wearing new shoes, which she found in a particularly agricultural-smelling puddle. My wife was every bit as delighted as you imagine on their return home.

Meeko is just grand. We have had him for nine weeks and he has really settled in.

You can just see him in the background of the photo above.

Thanks. She only arrived yesterday and feels like one of the family.

Her owners are in County Mayo for a few days. Small world!
