Thinking of getting one of those de-shedding brushes for my british shorthair, no matter how often or how long I comb him, there is always hair still coming off. Any recommendations?

It's his birthday this month so considering some wall mounted shelves for him, also after recommendations for them aswell please.
We have a freestanding cat "tree" made by Kerbl. As it happened I was on their website a few minutes ago and noticed that they do wall-mount stuff as well now. I've no experience of those but certainly the tree we do have seems pretty well made to me.

Lulu doing a pose

Also a fairly momentous occasion - the world's most antisocial cat has actually started jumping on the bed....

Just found this cat rescue on Facebook. There are lots of stray cats in Spain, though probably nowhere near as many as in Cyprus. What's surprising is how many are Siamese.

New to this thread but it's been an upsetting day so I needed a bit of happiness.

Fostered a lapsed domestic for a local rescue, he really didn't like humans but knew what a little tray was so he wasn't feral but he did love other cats. I knew he was an end of life foster but I hadn't firstly expected to fall in love with something so openly hissy at me and that my time would him would have been so short.

After conversations with the Rescue the decision was made to stop any suffering and let him go today. I've cried buckets over this cat that I never even got to touch, let alone stroke and fuss. He was old and obviously sick and it was the right call but it still hurts frown

The "ferals" steal your heart so quickly. You have given him/her the only caring they would have had, in the short time you acted in their best interest.

It hurts every time, and thank you.

RIP weeping

Dave being Dave. Almost 18, almost blind, almost deaf but totally happy and safe in his retirement with us from a rescue in the pandemic.

He’s an absolute dude!

Does he have a rug that really pulls the room together?

If he does I'd suggest not peeing on it.

The reason my Bengal Lebowski has his name. He was a rescue who previously lived in a big country Manor House and pee’d frequently on soft furnishings because he disliked the staff.
