can't believe I actually spent some time @ a cat-show in the NEC today. There were some amazing moggies there (one Maine Coon was a smedge under 12kg!!!) and great cat toys.
Did you go with the intention of seeing it? Or see it passing and think "I will pop in there"

Rather relieved to have discovered I have a cat with no interest in Christmas trees (except walking underneath with his tail up and knocking the needles off)

I believe female cats tend to bond with one person, whereas males will try and get attention from everyone. Did she get introduced to lots of different people when she was a kitten?

yes loads of people always been the same with her anyone who is not get me gets ripped to shreds

she's my first cat so all new to me

the amount of people she leaves dripping blood I've lost count of, my mum, the wife, friends, the vets & anyone else she comes into contact with

I shouldn't laugh about it but sometimes she suckers people in with purr's & talking waits till there in grabbing distance then goes for it like a whirlwind of claws & furr

the vets have seid to me maybe one of her parents was ferral

Heratio testing out the new cat tree (that is to be a gift for someone else but had to be built):

It did flex a bit under his weight, but he was very content. Will probably have to buy him one as well now.

Cats are a bit like children; buy them a toy and they'll play with/in the box it came in. Or they'll ignore the damned toy for ever...

Yep. We had a cat tree like the above for about a year. At that point we had 2 cats. Both ignored it\actively went out their way to get around it. It got donated to cats protection.

I made a scratching post about 2.5ft high with a carpeted platform on the top from bits in my garage, cost me nowt. One of our cats loves sitting on the top, rolling around & generally making use of it, the other one occasionally uses it as a scratching post.

I'd love to buy them something similar to that above but I just know they'd both ignore it!
