At my parents sorting out my Dad’s will, except I was distracted by an photo album on the table.
This is what I holidayed with
Think I’ve posted the above picture before somewhere. That’s me in the pushchair, Mum sunbathing. Dad towed a caravan along with us and his three Chows. Before moving on to camping in what was always the biggest tent on the campsite. Had to be with all the dogs!

Are they ok for ice-cream? I do occasionally leave a tiny bit of ice-cream on mymagnum sticktoo, and my beagle loves to lick and taste even thoguh its tiny! 
My three love it, they don't have lots; the odd lick and it's never done them any harm.You can get doggy ice cream, the ingredients make it sound rank, however mine love it.
Mine prefers human ice cream to the dog stuff. He can hear the ice cream man coming way before we hear him and is out the door like a shot when he parks up across the road from us. By the time we get there the ice cream man already a dog cornet waiting for him that he charges half the price of a normal cornet. One thing though, Archie can’t eat it quickly enough - why don’t dogs get brain freeze?

I am sure you have great memories of growing up.
Your Dad sounds like he was a wonderful Father.

They have such a great character. Ours has got several people we see on our walks wrapped round his little finger. If he sees them behind us he’ll start going slow (or stop dead) so they catch up and get to say hello to him.
3 of them have got Cairns after meeting ours!
