Curtis decided to leave his first ever gift on my pillow last night - a bit of wood from his litter tray.

Our Max has a habit of waking up at night having a big stretch which has sometimes ended up with a tiny ball of poo lying on the bed!

Had this - google "middening". It's a form of territorial marking. Ours did it for a while when we had some building work done in the kitchen/diner (which is where he eats and his litter tray is, and the area he was confined to when we first had him).

To be honest I'm surprised he managed to catch that

How do you get cats to tolerate each other? Mine display a mutual hatred that is a bit scary. We regularly have to separate them (the little one goes for the big one).

Sometimes, you can't. Some cats just don't like other cats frown

You can try having plug in diffusers around the house in the main areas they settle in, see if that helps? (I've found Pet Remedy to be more effective than Feliway)

We brought a rescue kitten home safe in the knowledge that our existing cat was very tolerant & would have no problem with it. Wrong frown

In the end she rarely came home & then we had a phone call from an office not far away saying that she was as good as living there. We asked if anybody in particular was taking care of here & did they want to re-home her for her sake, they did & she is now a very happy only cat again smile

Sadly, the kitten that was is now being attacked by the neighbours Tom cat but that's on another thread.

We had no idea what was going to happen, probably just luck but also Max is still young at 10 months and is a laid back cat who seems to get on with all the cats in the street.
