Alfie had his first proper grooming session on Friday and came back looking like a proper Airedale. We had a bad experience with a groomer just before Xmas; who despite saying they knew how to groom an Airedale, hadn't a clue and gave Alfie an Ewok appearance.
We get stopped a lot when we are out by people enquiring what breed he is, as we don't get many Airedales around here!

One more isn't going to make much of a difference, in fact, just get them all - we'll love all the pictures you'll post up
Very much this. In fact look on it as your duty to those of us who can't have dogs for one reason or other and need other people to post pictures they can go awwww over FourWheelDrift said:
These would be handy if there's one nearby. Australia, USA, Singapore (pic here) and even a few places in the UK have these.
We've taught him to expect a rub down with an old towel in the porch when we get back, he thinks its a good game, he lays on his back and lets us humans do all the work.Still, he's very polite, always happy to shake hands when he meets a new friend (I cant confirm or deny a treat may have been involved in the making of this pic..)
