Reminds me of my late collie - we lost him 12 months ago today - 4 paws off whenever possible

Buddy, very pleased with himself for getting so muddy and sandy on the beach.

Get up the road to the Falls of Bruar (4 miles). He can have a nice paddle in the shade too after a walk up the river.

Agree, it's a lovely walk along the river and the falls are great, very jealous of you being in Scotland MrsMiggins, we're off there in September!!!

My Collie does that with his back leg, lays on his side and his bottom leg sits on his top leg, it's the most peculiar thing!

30 years ago, you could gauge my cat's state of happiness by how many appendages were hanging off the edge of the TV.
He used to sleep on top of the TV, in the days when they weren't one inch thick, and enjoy the warmth rising from the gubbins in the back.
Moderately content, 2 paws off.
Nice and warm 4 paws off.
Totally content, 4 paws off and his bushy tail hanging down obscuring Carol Vorderman's cleavage during Countdown whistle

Yep, Arch was the same, one of his back legs hidden under the other and front legs crossed. He could stay asleep for hours in that same postition.

We are staying in a huge house in Co Donegal in Ireland

The sofa is so big that we can have all our dogs with us at the same time.

Our home will feel tiny when we get back

We're in the campsite next to the river Tilt so he's had several refreshing dips already. smile

Bruar is a good idea - will go tomorrow.

Dare you to blow that up and put it into a frame and hang on the wall as the "official photo". biggrin
