A whole one we assume. When we got up there was just 2 wings and a foot left.

He has spent the day so far in one spot on the sofa (unless I go and fuss him where he seems perfectly alert and happy). Normally he'd have moved around a little and come and shouted at me for a bit.

Do we need to worry at all? It's the 1st bit of wildlife he's eaten since he arrived and I assume there is a lot of bone in a pigeon. Though it was raw so it'll be ok?

It was probably a ninja pigeon and put up a bit of a fight...
Could be. There was a distinct lack of blood among the feathers/on the rug. I'll assume it died of blood loss after an epic battle. hehe

I think you are right about the sleeping it off thing. He's just come to give me a good shouting at as if it was time for dinner. hehe

Still I'm impressed he managed to chew through a pigeon, but he'll swallow cat treats/biscuits whole to avoid chewing.

Congratulate him, I hate bloody pigeons and celebrate when our cats get one (feathers everywhere!).
Yes I'm not worried about the pigeon. A city center pigeon can't of been the height of cat cuisine though. Free range country mice sound much tastier. lick

Wait 'til he starts bringing tramps in...
He is the tramp!

(I was tempted to make some joke about marrying the tramp of the house...but I think I'll avoid that one) smile
