Close though smile
It's the Empire State Building rofl

Mrs Puggit was expecting me to propose while on top of it. I didn't. She got a right hump!

I proposed later outside of Tiffanys on 5th Avenue, and we went inside to get the ring.

I know this because I told you where it was in your original thread - but I'll hold off.

You can have my floor (assuming it was Empire State Building!) It's fair to tell people it's a very old pic wink

Well it looks like a WW2 era photo (or it could be from Apple maps I suppose smile ).

Could be anywhere in the UK really but a logical assumption would be eastern England, Lincolnshire perhaps?

Depends what you mean by cheat! I had an idea - and checked general town layout on Google Maps. I used to commute Oxford - London by train and recognise the station approach.

I don't have access to my photos at work, so I've nicked this from Google Images; I promise that I have something very similar on my home computer!

It's a railway station, the architect was a Brit. It's in the Southern Hemisphere. When I was there in 1997 it had several regular passenger services, but these have apparently all now ceased.

Despite spending a drunken day on the Speights brewery tour, it reminds me of something I saw in Dunedin, NZ
