Well that's your life over then. You'll start thinking about your next ski holiday...well, probably today. You'll start checking weather forecasts (that they struggle to get right for 12hrs time) about 4 months before you go. And you'll start finding new things you NEED to buy (but are really just to give you that little out-of-season high). gman88667733 said:
If the food had been cheaper, it’d have been ideal!
Which is why for next year YOU get in first suggesting going skiing...and say in either Austria or Italy. Austria will generially be a bit cheaper than France for food and drink...but that might be counteracted by you drinking more as Austrian apres ski is SO much better. In Italy food especially will usually be a LOT cheaper AND better than France*...but the lifts a little older too.- Went to Sauze d'Oulx a couple of years ago, which is in Italy but the resort links over to France. The can of Coke + main course lunch from the self-service restaurant in France was more than we'd paid in Italy the day before for a table service meal with beer and dessert.
