Correct. Where I grew up! We had a beach hut back then.

I think the centre pic has Golden Cap in the background. Charmouth beach?
Oh not too far away. But isn't Charmouth a sandy beach?

It is about 35 to 40 years since I have been on Charmouth beach - my mum used to take me there as a treat. I remember also taking me to Exmouth, so I might be getting confused with Charmouth being sandy!

Use to cycle round that area and friends were married in the grounds a few years back.

Pedantic - Old Wardour Castle, no?

Beautiful place. We last visited some 5 years ago in the summer, stopped by some crossroads a few miles away and you couldn't hear another human (other than a distant tractor)...it's one of those times when you realise how noisy here in the SE is.
