Skiing 24-25 Season who/where/when?
Discussion
Going to turn 50 next Feb and also 25th wedding anniversary so just booked 3 weeks in Jackson Hole. Can't wait for it. Got an apartment in Teton village.
Been twice before, once for our very belated honeymoon in 2008 and the last trip was 2015.
Price has gone up by pretty eyewatering amounts but got plenty of time to save between now and then! Certainly going to miss the exchange rate we had in 2008!

I've just booked an appartment in Valmeinier for the kids first ski trip in early Jan next year - they will be 3,6 & 9. Gone for the 'make sure they have a great first trip' attitude so making it a bit of an adventure driving down and not anticipating a huge amount of time skiing myself but it will be a great first time for the kids. If anyone has skied here it would be good to hear your thoughts.
Also looking to book at the end of Jan for a long weekend with colleagues - 10-12 of us going - if anyone has any recommendations? Only criteria are 90min max transfer and somewhere with a bit of apres, doesnt have to be booming. Mix of abilities but we are open to catered chalets etc.

My ski boots are knackered. Been trying to find a pair of Atomic Hawx Uktra Professionals. Absolutely sold out. I suspect the latest season ones will be a hit, with few discounts, sadly.
I did get some end of season bargains - a set of Line Blades plus Tyrolia Attack Protector bindings for around £350 was a great deal. Looking forward to trying these unusual skis out. Bought them short at 168cm for some really silly short turns and switch carving. Also got some Red Bull Spect magnetic goggles with two lenses for £60, which was a good deal.
Booked PdS for 2 weeks at Easter, as usual. A client ski trip should happen as i'm told that I'm on the permanent invite list after my ski/nightclub antics this year (and i sent them a hamper to their office to say thank you - extravagant thank you gifts work, clearly!), and a Canada heli trip, again with work.. '25 is looking good! I am a lucky boy, and intend to keep doing this all for as long as I can.
Not doing the Feb half term thing next year, though. Too crowded, too annoying. The kids will get plenty of skiing at Easter.
