Uk holiday ideas
Discussion
Go on holiday in the UK every year so here are my thoughts.
East coast - not a fan, windy, sea not very nice but some nice beaches. Can be a bit Chavvy!
N Wales - Spent most of my childhood hols on the Llyn Peninsula, Nefyn, Abersoch, Aberdaron... Great beaches, clear sea, loads of accommodation options. Abersoch is popular with the Cheshire set so can be expensive.
Mid Wales - My family go to Aberdovey/Towyn every year. We had 40 last year! Good beaches, lots to do and see and loads od self catering places. We've stayed here a few times http://www.hendyfarmholidays.co.uk/ it even has its own railway station for the Tallylyn railway.
Gower - Bit of a trek but lovely beaches (Three cliffs and Oxwich) and scenery. Loads of accommodation and only a short drive into Swansea and the Mumbles.
Norfolk - Went to Cromer a few years ago and it rained constantly, left after 4 days! Well next the Sea has a stunning beach, Cromer a bit run down.
Went to Guernsey last year which was fantastic. Stayed in a tent on a great campsite. It was all set up when we arrived. There are also plenty of self catering places to rent as well.

Isn't Norfolk on the East Coast?Norfolk - Went to Cromer a few years ago and it rained constantly, left after 4 days! Well next the Sea has a stunning beach, Cromer a bit run down.
And for what it's worth I would go for Northumberland Coast/Borders. Lots to see and do lovely beaches and great driving roads.
