Well we are talking somewhere hot, Middle East or Africa at a guess. It looks like it might have religious significance from the cross shaped windows which would also imply Christian. Pretty old. It's not places like Jerusalem or similar.
We were in Africa with my Mali one so I wonder about Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia sort of way, but I don't thinks there's much in Egypt or Sudan, there is a famous site in Ethiopia but that's not the church of St George which is the most famous one there.
So I'm not sure if I'm getting close or rambling on!

More wandering around the Middle East and Africa, I'd say.
