I crashed my rented LR Discovery into a drainage ditch last time I went (2010), kidnapped two guard dogs and took them to Blue Marlin with me, and slept with three women in our villa group, plus a random - the three are no longer talking to me. Also broke my nose twice in two days. Was too lunatic - so didn't go this year.

Will be back in 2012 in a more sensible frame of mind, and not get so addled.

Ibiza is amazing I have been 7 times-however I have some friends who own a villa there. So makes it cheap.
Playa D'en Bossa is great as you have Bora Bora and Ibiza Town
San An- for Mambo, Cafe Del Mar, Ibiza Rocks, Es Paradis, Eden etc we normally go and get a bit tanked up in west end (chavvy but cheap) then head off to one of the clubs. The taxi que In San An is normally heaving so if there is only a couple of you or there is a 6 seater people are usually happy to taxi share.

Nights out I would reccomend- Zoo Project, Pacha, Ibiza Rocks and Cream at Ammnesia

You then have San An bay which is okay its a bit like a mini Benidorm and has bars upon bars and is also home to kumharas which is a great little chill out bar this is only a short cab ride from San an and is abit quieter - I noticed your age

Also if you have a bit of cash a good night out is a place called KM5 (slighty more chilled)
If you want any more info then PM mate

I was in Ibiza in August. I had such an awesome time. Met so many people(women). Nearly started a riot. Consumed LOTS of free alcohol.
Two boat trips. Won't ever forget those.
I can't wait to go back.
The boat trips are sounding like a good idea. Free alcohol...? How...?
I need to know for research purposes smile

Ha ha! I'm hoping not to behave like I'm nearly 40 hehe

Tonight I'm going to read up about the geography and where things are to get an idea about getting about.

In ref tickets you can buy these pretty much anywhere in San and we found a few euros chucked the PR's way will ensure you get cheap(er) tickets. There is also alot of people who wander around to give you free wristbands for one of the clubs- granted this will not be when Swedish House Mafia etc are on but its free and a good laugh if you are already tanked up at 1am!!!

Free alcohol several ways-
All inclusive hotel.
Meet other drunk folk who are willing to buy you a drink.
And a few others.

Boat trips are great, just make sure you use sun protection. Had such a blast on them though. Do something 'memorable' also, like go in fancy dress or get painted(like I did, waist up). You'll find that everyone will be drawn to you even more. smile

Did that after getting a face/bodypainter to do us up as animals. Was awesome.

I went once with a group of 30 friends for 2 weeks, took me another few to get over it!

I have fond memories (or lack thereof) of the absolute carnage that is San An strip! So many stories, but WGOTSOT.

I think I'd do the Villa route if I went again, as long as I had a decent group.

I've been twice before about 10 years ago, you definitely should go, I have some great memories. I took my brother who had never been to a proper club before, and after the first night he was dancing shirtless in Privilege hehe That island does something to you when you land.

Really tempted to go with the missus scratchchin

Been to Ibiza a few times but only ever spent more than a night there once, stopped a couple of nights with a "plumber from Catford" that I moved out there to his villa. We went to the beach above to watch the sun go down, (not as ghey as it sounds)rolleyes Great guy, drove down with me, no pretensions. Used to be in M people.

Loads of reports of this. I also believe there was another incident of a clubber / guest being injured around the closing parties too.

If it was me, I would get an All inclusive hotel in San Antonio Bay. That way you arent right slap bang in the centre of the club 18-30 type madness that you get in the centre of San Antonio. Also, obviously depending how far around the bay you go, its only like a 20min walk to San Antonio. You also have a "water taxi" basically a small boat/ferry which runs between the bay and San An and only costs a few euros.

You raelly need to ask yourself what you want out the holiday before looking at locations IMO - do u want a hotel where you can get a decent sleep, do u want an all day party hotel etc etc.

If you want a decent Roast dinner on a Sunday-its amazing how much this fixes you after being on it for x amount of days, then I can say one great place is Smugglers in San An Bay.
