Christ on a bike. It's a rock in the middle of god-knows-where.

Not Australia. Close to the equator, somewhere with no rainfall for most of the year, and then huge storms, looking at the little rivulet valleys.

Scrubby thorny bushes suggests deserty area. I wonder if it's something like the great rift valley in Kenya. I think we're in Africa anyway, judging by the rocks alone. In fact certain it's Africa. Spotted a clue in the pic.
