Yarp.

Cracking castle, never completed and it was expensive.
I wasn't 100% sure as I remember a proper moat around the towers, but maybe that's only on the more photographed side.

What does anyone make of this, then...?
Gigrin?

Edit. Red Kite feeding station just outside Rhayader

I had a feeling that might go quickly. Over to you, unless you want to go with YankeePorter's golfing one?

In Southern Ireland that really narrows it down......I have seen hundreds of such ruins and even searching fishing places would be futile with so many to choose from also.

Bet I will kick myself when it is eventually solved..I posted an Irish fishing pic myself not so long ago on this thread biggrin

Yep, difficult I guess. If it helps the pike fishing there is fantastic, it delivers every year! smile

No Ring of Kerry, and it's not on the banks of a lough, it's by a river......

Would love to fish Corrib, loads of trout! Have to make do with fishing for pike on the fly.
