Dunno why the direct link isn't always working...

Yes, it is in Madeira, but can anyone be more specific? It is part of a walk, you can't drive to that bit.

I suspect Dropbox won't show images unless you're logged in... Try it here.

Thanks, that's good to know.

Edited to add: this is a walk we'd intended to do several times. from A to B, but on previous occasions we were thwarted. This time we walked from A to B, had lunch, and bouyed by our success (and the lunch) we walked back again. Hopefully somebody can name A and B.

I've done lots of walking in Madeira, but all on the levadas in the hills, not down by the coast. Is it one of those places that you get to by cable car?

No. South coast, and the image is facing South-East.

Edited to add a clue. We didn't see any sea lions.

Yep! Over to you.

I think the first clue was possibly too cryptic - lobos-marinhos is Portuguese for what we call a sea lion, so I suppose they call it a sea-wolf. The place was named after them.

It's an interesting one. That far shoreline and backdrop looks rather like the picture was taken on the Summer Isles North of Ullapool, but I'm expecting not.
