I've been over that twice in a canal boat, it's the Avoncliff Viaduct on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

Sorry, my bad for not giving extra clues on the wooden beast..

It's Bill Reid's "Bear" at the UBC Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver.

The "Jade Canoe" at YVR departures is probably the one that @Fluffsri was thinking of. The Orca statue outside the aquarium is also very well known.

Yep, St Brelades Bay on Jersey, it looks a bit tropical so thought that would last a little longer, over to you Planet Claire.

Hmm. Everything points to France, but the writing on the statue/monument looks like it's in a foreign (probably Asian) script???

Oh well smile

The layout of the text looks something like a war memorial - Lists of names (plus other info), arranged by years, but possibly with a placename under each year?

But it looks like there's just too many years for it to be that...?.

No, it's not a war memorial.

The strange mix of building designs is intriguing. Are we in the US or Canada by any chance? This ones stumped me.
