Why does my photo come out sideways no matter what I do with it?

Thumbsnap doesn't play well with phone uploads so I always use imgur.com instead.

Once you've uploaded a photo choose the "get share links" option then copy the "BBCode (Forums)" link and paste it onto here. It hardly adds any time but at least your photo is the right way up. The link should look like this:
