South of France, where to stay?
Discussion
I have booked a ferry to France for a drive down south somewhere with the Gf. Leaving the 5th September for a week. Looking for recommendations for accomodation, coastal or inland. We had initially decided to look at a 'posh' caravan type affair, but also considering small gites, self catering etc. The main criteria is somewhere that will allow for cars to be parked by the Accomodation and within walking distance of a pretty village/town. Ideally with a hot-tub or small pool.
Any experience on geographical areas & specific sites/properties would be much appreciated

You might want to take a trip along a little known road called the N85 or the Route Napoleon to get there :-). Im not saying that you stay a week but Grasse is a nice town at the bottom.
AirBnB is probably a good shout for what you need as there are a lot of places which match your criteria on there.

Stayed at the Ibis Style Antibes a few times in the past (used to have a couple of different names) (at least I think - as the place I stayed was here - it was the cheapest place in the south of France with air-conditioning and parking. I think it was branded Ibis the last time I went 3 or 4 years ago. A few mins to Cannes, or a nice drive along the Corniche in Nice to Monaco.
