I've just booked my yearly European trip, (I live in Asia) and will be flying into Charles De Gaul Paris on a Saturday morning. Planning a few days in Paris then hire car for a trip around, see the kids who are studying in Europe, and look at s house to buy. My thoughts were to pick up a hire car at Charles DG on Tuesday, as it will then be easy to return for the home flight. I don't want to pay for hotel delivery on a hire car as this adds a lot to the hire bill. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to get from airport to Paris center, what is recommended as a balance between convenient/price train or taxi? Just two adults.
Go here for dinner on one of your evenings.

Get the metro to Grands Boulevards.
Another PH member recommended it to me last year- it was a brilliant experience. Get there about 8pm because there will be quite a queue to get in.
