Right there's 8 of us planning a stag weekend to Vegas.

We have tried all the flight comparison websites but we are struggling to drop the price to a level we are comfortable with. Therefore I would request the help of fellow PH's to source the cheapest flights to Las Vegas.

Departure airport doesn't matter as long as its in the UK, ideally we would want to fly out on the 23rd May 2012 and back on the 28th, or as long as its 5 days and we are there for Friday, Saturday & Sunday night.

Cheapest Direct we got is £641 and cheapest indirect is £520, both from London (Gatwick I think).

PH Beer tokens for the cheapest direct & indirect flights smile

It's a few years since we went, but that seems cheap to me. I doubt you'll get much better
We went in 2010 and we flew direct for a fraction over £500, we done the trip for less than £640. If I could get the direct flight prices down to about £550 or less It would make the trip!!

Just seeing if there's anyone in the know! smile

Believe me I know £100 is trivial when it comes to Vegas, the boys want to do it for as cheap as possible though. Just because its an expensive place to go, doesn't mean you cant try to cut all the excess cost out before you go.

I was trying to get the price down as low as possible as the two main people (stag & best man) wanted to save money by going indirect, I explained all the reasons given here why it was a bad idea, but they had blinkered vision. However, we are now at a point where we all agree to go direct (thank god).

Through a friend I have now got a direct flight for £605, so thats £50 per head off the same flight (Virgin). Times that by 8 and its £400, there's the airport transfer (this end) paid for!! If your in a position to turn your nose up at £50 then lucky you!! smile

We did look at a package, we found the Riviera for £660 direct, but reading the reviews the Riviera is hell on earth. The stag has expressed his desire to stay in suites at the Jet, priced at £159 each for 5 nights, however, at the moment we are swaying towards suites in the main MGM for £129!

I will check out expedia for some deals!! Thanks for all the advice guys!

The MGM is pretty epic. Good position on the strip too!

I'm now looking to go again next year....!!! I'm due a change in my luck on the gambling after last times disaster!!
yes

We stayed in the Excalibur last time which is across the road, pretty crap by Vegas standards but had a massive games floor, great pool atmosphere, great location, clean enough rooms & plenty of places to eat within including Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Chinese & Mexican! All you need for a stag do!

This time we wanted to go "a little" upmarket hehe

Its one hell of a place for a stag do thats for sure!! The only place I have drank for 24 hours, slept for six and woke to a breakfast of Jaeger and Grey Goose and not complained!!
