In terms of getting into the big clubs, is it a case of turning up on the night or can you buy tickets in advance? I don't really want to roll up and have to wait for 3 hours to get in.

In terms of accommodation, are there some semi-decent hotels or is a villa a better option? I'm thinking hotel for fraternising but villa for peace and quiet and long lie-ins...

OP, can I come with you? smile

I still haven't done Ibiza yet, and all my friends are now boring and in serious relationships... rolleyes
This is the reason I'm going - been on my list of stuff to do for ages and never found the time.
I am 38 though...and I'm going with a couple of spods younger than me that are never ever ever going to pull hehe

Er, so yes I guess so smile

Hotel, you'll only be using it for shagging anyway. Plus a villa is too isolated, so you can't make friends with the group of girls in the next room.
That's my thinking. A villa will be a pain to get to and from, with no chance encounters either...

Sounds like a PH opportunity here. Lets all go, then when OP gets to the club with a gaggle of young ladies in tow, everyone in there can turn and cheer and point at him!

We could do that in either a "Yeah your a hero!" Type of way ensuring definate winky wetness at a later hour from any number of the gaggle of hotties.

Or a chorus of "HA Ha LOSER!" ensuring Flashman levels of floppyness.

Reception style dependent upon whether or not he chips in to 600 tickets.....
Ha ha!
I'm erring on the side of expecting something more like the Kevin & Perry floater scene hehe

'Elloww ladeees!

Ah God I really can't wait.
Thanks for the tips - keep them coming.

What time do the clubs open? Someone was saying midnight is normal...?

Mmmm, party boat? Not heard of that but sounds good smile

Yeah, I was aware of the prices of entry and drinkies so that's not a problem.
Can...not...wait...!

Going by the events at this place, I doubt many people would want to stay here.

Hotel Garbi in Playa Den Bossa is a good shout.
I wouldn't necessarily rule it out on the actions of one man, granted there have been teething problems but I think that they will be completely sorted for 2012, or Fiesta will run the risk of loosing all that money.
What happened there then?

I was in Ibiza in August. I had such an awesome time. Met so many people(women). Nearly started a riot. Consumed LOTS of free alcohol.
Two boat trips. Won't ever forget those.
I can't wait to go back.
The boat trips are sounding like a good idea. Free alcohol...? How...?
I need to know for research purposes smile

I crashed my rented LR Discovery into a drainage ditch last time I went (2010), kidnapped two guard dogs and took them to Blue Marlin with me, and slept with three women in our villa group, plus a random - the three are no longer talking to me. Also broke my nose twice in two days. Was too lunatic - so didn't go this year.

Will be back in 2012 in a more sensible frame of mind, and not get so addled.
hehe

You then have San An bay which is okay its a bit like a mini Benidorm and has bars upon bars and is also home to kumharas which is a great little chill out bar this is only a short cab ride from San an and is abit quieter - I noticed your age
Ha ha! I'm hoping not to behave like I'm nearly 40 hehe

Tonight I'm going to read up about the geography and where things are to get an idea about getting about.

Free alcohol several ways-
All inclusive hotel.
Meet other drunk folk who are willing to buy you a drink.
And a few others.

Boat trips are great, just make sure you use sun protection. Had such a blast on them though. Do something 'memorable' also, like go in fancy dress or get painted(like I did, waist up). You'll find that everyone will be drawn to you even more. smile
Yup, did fancy dress a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe the attention.
Suncream, yes smile

Another top tip. If you want to go to Pacha, eat at the restaurant (pre-book) Will cost you about 80 Euros, and great food, including lots of (restaurant rather than club priced) wine. Afterwards, you just wander into the club, nicely marinated, through the restaurant entrance - no door fee.

So instead of paying 60-80 Euros to get in, you spend 60-80 Euros on a great dinner in their beautiful restaurant, and get in for free.

Bargainacious.
Ahhh, now that is a good idea.
Who mentioned Sunday roast...?! I'm bloody starving now hehe
