Thought this might have been asked before but nothing has cropped up in search.

I’m spending Christmas overseas this year and would like to take some crackers as a gift to my hosts. Does anyone know whether you are allowed to carry crackers in your hold luggage? I’m finding conflicting answers via Google and there is no definitive answer on the airline’s website (I don’t want to pay a 30p a minute phone to spend 20 minutes on hold).

Two lots of flights involved, first with Flybe and then KLM.

Past experience with Flybe tells me if they can find a way to be awkward or charge more money they will. Never flown with KLM before.

Can't be arsed doing your googling for KLM wink
Hence why I said from the outset that Google is giving me conflicting answers and I can't find definitive answers the airline's websites.
