Help! Who's been here in Mexico?

Hi All,

We're booking our honeymoon and fancy going to Mexico. We've narrowed it down to two resorts and I'd like to know if any ph's have been to either and what their views were.
1. Secrets Maroma (30 mins south of Cancun)
2. The Royal in Playa del Carmen

What do you lot reckon would be best? All general Mexico advice welcome and views of other resorts we may not have heard of as well

Cheers for the info! Secrets could well be the way to go!
How rowdy did the pool get? Don't get me wrong were not old and stuffy and can be high spirited ourselves, just don't want loads of obnoxious loud mouths about!
