Hi all, I'll be travelling to Toronto at the end of October until early November, now I'm after some ideas of what to do, going with parents and younger sister - 11yrs old, thinking of hiring a car when at Toronto and travelling within say 200 miles of Toronto, so far all that's planned is spend a couple of days in Toronto, and then head down to niagara falls for a couple more days, and then maybe into the USA, new York state probably.
So does anyone have any bright ideas of places to go and things to do within a few hours drive of Toronto at the end of October, early November.
Would really appreciate your input.

Yeah I've heard recently niagara is very commercial now, think the plan at the moment is spend a day in Toronto then down to niagara for 2 days, over the border, maybe Rochester if anything to do around there and then head to NYC, spend a night just before somewhere, 2 days in NYC, then up to Albany, maybe adirondack state park , and then to Kingston on the eastern coast of lake ontArio and back to Toronto for the last day again. Did you head into the USA? Could do with some inspiration for what to do between niagara and NYC and then from NYC to lake Ontario again.
