I'm planning on going to New York next spring, 5 days in New York then renting a car to head towards Toronto and then back to the east coast to see out the rest of the holiday in Boston.

Flights from Heathrow are about £450 return to JFK (economy, I'm not a fussy traveller) however if I do LHR > JFK then BOS > LHR this comes to about £750. Is there a way of bringing this down as it seems airlines like to shaft you for one way flights?

Never mind, it's £500 with BA.. biggrin

Is it worth waiting out for any flight sales?
