Just planning a holiday abroad for the Mrs & myself before we take delivery of our new pup at end of April. I know it’s a bit early so thought either Canaries( which tbh we’ve done lots and prefer to go elsewhere) or Caribbean which we don’t fancy the flight for just a weeks holiday . Last year we went to Alvor in the Algarve in July and really liked it so wondered what the weather would be like early to mid April. Cheers in advance for any input.

Thanks for the replies, it’s always good and very helpful to get real life information from people who’ve been there instead of going off some website stats that never tell the whole story 👍

Now then, let’s not squabble about it, but this is why I asked for the advice from people who either live there or visit regularly . I’ve never found weather charts helpful or to give a real life feel of what it’s like. Last year in July it was probably too hot for us but, by the sounds of it, April looks to be peachy so looking forward to a comfortable week. By the way, Alvor we found to be a lovely place and look forward to our return. Thanks for the input, much appreciated.
