You won't be far from Jupiter Artland which is worth a visit if you are aren't too restricted by mobility issues. Since you will have the car and it's not too far away from Dalmahoy then I would also recommend a little visit to Port Edgar/South Queensferry if the weather is nice. There are some lovely spots to eat, have a coffee and cake or simply enjoy some ice cream all along the town these days.
Hermiston Park and Ride is close by but only served by buses. Before you get to it, following the A71, you can also take Curriehill Road and jump on a train at Curriehill Station. If you feel tram would be better suited then definitely ditch the car next to the park and ride at the airport, Ingliston.
Thanks, that’s really useful info. I’m waiting for a knee replacement, I can manage a couple of hundred yards (slowly!) at a time.Hermiston Park and Ride is close by but only served by buses. Just to round this off in case it’s of interest to anyone…. The Dalmahoy was good, a bit dearer than planned but we’re old gits and we’ve earned a bit of comfort. Excellent staff, good food, warm pool but a bit shallow for a proper swim. We drove up to The Royal Yacht, I like a look round every few years, probably with coming from a seafaring family. Excellent HMV shop in the Ocean Terminal shopping centre and impressed with the free parking! That would have been £15 where we live(York)
The nearby Park and Ride was fine for getting into the centre, we did the blue bus tour for a change this time.
Overall a nice little break.
