Need to log travel plans before leaving UK

Heard this on R4 this morning but can't find it on the BBC website...

Apparently this year there's going to be a new law introduced making us file 'travel plans' before leaving the country. In other words, all they have to do is refuse, and you can't leave.



Is this a plan to stop any more of us emigrating to nicer places? I can't believe they could simply impose this and nobody's noticed.

A UK Border Agency spokesman defended the e-borders scheme. "It allows us to secure the UK's Borders by screening people as they travel in and out of the UK.'

It's a bit bloody late now chum. All the crap and filth is already in.

I think the Telegraph are just the ones breaking this particular bit of news.

It was on BBC Radio 4 news this morning. And if the Beeb isn't the Voice of the State, I don't know what is.
