Mediterranean France - which towns/resorts/beaches?
Discussion
Off to the south of France this summer, looking currently at SE france (anywhere between Marseilles and Monaco), but have absolutely NO clue where down there is nice* anymore, and certainly not where is nice without spending a fortune.
So...suggestions please. Would probably want a beach resort (or somewhere close to a decent beach), but would also consider a second stop a little-way inland...perhaps across as far as the Camargue. And affordability is quite important...would rather not be paying through the nose just for the 'pleasure' of being in Cannes or Monte Carlo or wherever...it'd be nice to have some spare cash to go for some nice meals!
Cheers all,
Martin.

- It's a small 'n', so no puns, please!

TBH, with the pound where it's at,France will not seem that affordable anywhere.
I know, but circumstances dictate that if we want to do a road-trip in the NSX then this year may be the only chance we'll get. And the Euro now covers pretty-much everywhere drivable outside of our fair isle...
