Seeing as everyone wants to start their own virus related thread, I thought that I would make it my turn now.

What have you not been able to get hold of for love nor money during lockdown. At least possibly not for a normal price?

For me:

Concept 2 Rower - the manufacturer simply aren't making any at the moment. Every fitness supplier is cleaned out. Ebay is fully of scalpers.
Garden Shredder - just cleaned out everywhere. I guess everyone is trying to tidy their garden now!

And i am current debating getting a portable aircon unit. Lockdown and possible high temps doesn't seem like it's going to be much fun.

Ford touch up paint. Ford parts and dealers closed, ebay had a handful of official ones (not taking a risk on dodgy ones). Ordered one a month ago and still not dispatched.

Garage floor paint. Need a bigger 5l tin, but these are mainly just click and collect rather than delivery and a number of places didn't have the specific one I was after available to order anyway.

Glad I anticipated demand for hair clippers before the rush though!

A couple of weeks ago it was tomato seeds. The only places I could find wouldn't deliver until July at the earliest.

However, out of curiosity I checked again last night, I now have some coming on Monday smile

Eggs - where did they go? Chickens don't stop laying and the restaurants won't want them, yet none in the shops.

Flour - ditto. Most of the bakeries are shut, but there is no flour to be found anywhere.

I really want an exercise bike (on a bit of a budget) as I'm wary of going out on the push iron due to a back issue - worried I can make it down the hills but not back up

No issue with eggs here in South Staffs. Most indie bakeries might be shut but bread factories are still blazing away. Wholesalers are not about to to start parting out hundredweight bags, are they?

Open, yes, but a lot of stuff is out of stock. Took three weeks to get hold of a CO2 canister!

B&M had them on the weekend according to my friend, who had just been and bought one and was setting it up for "the kids" to play in.

My chickens are laying 12 a day on average, I eat 2 or 3 and give the rest away.
