Hi all, I've done a search but this only turns up the generic email addresses.

Long story short, they've charged me too much for the last 3 months as they've stopped my discounted line rental at 15 months into my contract rather then applying it for 18 months, as was agreed when I originally negotiated the deal.

Ironically for a phone company, they won't deal with customer complaints on the phone only via email. I've fired off several emails however the dimwits I am dealing with are totally missing the salient points I am making. Instead they are trotting off generic lines of information I already know- they are totally missing the reason there is a dispute in the first place.

So please, does anybody have the email of somebody who can actually get this resolved?

This company honestly has no sense of perspective. I am looking to get an Iphone 4, but if this isn't sorted pronto, it certainly won't be from them.

All modern big companies are the same.

Millions of monkeys in a call centre who have no ability to do anything other than basic transactions. Even the managers aren't in authority to do much, they're just monkeys that have been promoted. Same goes for banks, utility companies, sales companies etc.

Are you for real?

You mean to say they are making no money on a 24 month deal with line rental of atleast £35 for a half decent tariff whilst also charging a sizeable amount for the phone itself.

I very much doubt the iphone is some sort of loss leader for Vodafone.

You're (quite literally) a number. They have no interest in a single customer who's going to use up their support resources. The amount of money they'll make out of you is literally nothing compared to their total revenue. Threaten them as much as you want with buying your IPhone elsewhere. They really don't care.

Even making the same noises when talking about 1000 phones gets you a non too different attitude.

Mr Laurence will cancel his Caribbean holiday so he can attend to the OP's complaint personally.

I hate vodafone they have been doing the same to me. They were taking nearly £100 out monthly yet not sending any bills or allowing me access online, when phoning up I got sent all over the houses saying things like "you made international calls" which I hadn't and so on, when I tried to wait for a manager they left me on hold for 20 mins till I ave up, when I email I get no response, it is absoloutly dire. I have given up but they lost my custom to.

I realise this doesn't help you I just wanted to vent and you can always add kit80 isn't happy either to the end of your email. hehe

Actually, you'd be surprised.

I once got a phone from Orange. The contract included a Kodak Bluetooth printer, only I never got it because they were "out of stock".

After a few phonecalls, about 3 months had passed so I sent an email to their CEO. That afternoon I got a call from his PA, and had my printer within about 3 days.

Sounds familiar, they don't send me paper bills but the online billing is kaputt. I can't login and it says contact the helpline to set something up, I ring them, they supposedly set it up and then it doesn't work again.

THe person that answers the phone is there to sell, they don't give a fk about the company or your custom - threaten all you want you won't get anywhere, they will simply move onto their next phone call

On that note, have you ever tried getting a reply by email from AOL. I tried once and absolutely nothing.

weve had major issues with vodafone recently, finally we were contacted by a chap called stephen mcareavey.

his email adress is stephen.mcareavey@firstsource.com

also try a chap called Hamraz in the customer relations team in stoke, just call the usual number and ask for him.

hope it helps.

I may be wrong, but I thought in general Vodafone discounted contract deals revert to full price for the last 3 months but you can renegotiate a new contract with them during this time. That's how my deal worked last time I had discounted rate on contract.
