Never drunk a cup of Coffee in my 42 year life
Concerned I must be missing out, as my colleagues fail to be able to do anything productive without it
Thats a good one.Concerned I must be missing out, as my colleagues fail to be able to do anything productive without it
Do you drink tea? or are you just not into hot beverages?
I could say the same about Cocaine.. but what puts me off the most is that the majority of people that I see taking it / offering it to me are tts.
Tea isn't as bad a taste, but still horrible.
People think im strange when I say I don't like either!

Can’t get past the concept, but I’m told once you’ve tried it, you’re hooked (much like Teslas apparently).
Tried it not long ago after not having it for God knows how many years since the first time I tried it, it's ok in small amounts. I'm in no rush to have it again though Can’t get past the concept, but I’m told once you’ve tried it, you’re hooked (much like Teslas apparently).

Once, in Canterbury, with my brother-in-law holding a gun to my head,
never again, as sure as God made little green apples.
Well, I'm not surprised.never again, as sure as God made little green apples.
Next time, don't go with your brother-in-law or tell him to leave the gun at home. You'll be able to relax and enjoy it properly.

Being a very very fussy eater as a kid and living in Singapore I missed out on all the local cuisine until I was 12 then Bingo ! Most of my life since has been mostly far eastern food
I didn't drink tea or coffee until I was 23
I didn't eat yoghurt until I was 61 .
But why would you not eat yoghurt, it's so inoffensive!I didn't drink tea or coffee until I was 23

Never eaten in, or had take out from, McDonalds, KFC, or Burger King.
Went in a McDonalds in the U.S. once, to use the Wi-Fi, and had coffee.
Had a burger in a Wendy’s once in the U.S., but I was ravenous, I’d have had a squirrel sandwich if one had been offered to me at the time.

I’ll assume that you don’t mean that I should suddenly acquire a penchant for burgers and fries, so I’ll take a wild stab that you mean that my saying that I’ll bend over backwards to avoid ever crossing the threshold of a Wetherspoons again, indicates a need for self improvement.
Can’t see that improving my lot, I don’t like beer, although I’ll hold my hands up, and admit, that I may have had a total of 5 or 6 over the past 40 years, all in places like South Texas, New Mexico, or Arizona, when the temps were 33c plus, and the beers were in frosted bottles, and it almost turned your tongue blue with cold as you poured it down your throat.
A mate of mine is 32, never had an alcoholic drink. He had the piss taken out him in his late teens and twenties because of it, but I've always thought it quite admirable. I've only had 3 alcoholic drinks in the last 13 months. Going to go for tee total in 2020.
In my 32 years I've never watched a whole game of football, couldn't name 3 current premiership players either. Zero interest.

Gin. Everywhere I go these days people seem to be drinking it. Fancy glasses, hundreds of different brands, it's very much the 'in' drink - at least in the places I frequent. I've smelt it once and it smelt vile, so I've never wanted to taste it. I stick to beer/whiskey when out but sometimes feel the odd one out.
I'm with you. I'm a huge beer and ale drinker but never a spirit fancier. Even been to gin events and stayed on the ale. Then, earlier this year, we went to a nice hotel on Lake Como that had a gin bar. The missus loves it so we went. Told the bloke I didn't like gin and he promised to make me one I'd like... It's actually really nice with a good tonic and a bit of fruit. Seriously. Try it, you might be as surprised as I was.
I still prefer a pint or ten, but actually enjoy a gin too in the right setting...

I’m always game for a bit of self improvement, although it does go against the grain to be told that I have some to do by a stranger, who wouldn’t know me from Adam.

That was a good advert for a cold beer Frank.I’ll assume that you don’t mean that I should suddenly acquire a penchant for burgers and fries, so I’ll take a wild stab that you mean that my saying that I’ll bend over backwards to avoid ever crossing the threshold of a Wetherspoons again, indicates a need for self improvement.

I think all spirits taste unpleasant neat. One reason i couldn't drink whiskey, the smell would put me off.
Many are vile - I couldn't imagine drinking vodka without a mixer. But I do like a neat whiskey, though depending on the type I'd sometimes add a tiny splash of water if it needs it. Don't really enjoy it with a typical soft drink mixer. I've got a bottle of Bushmills honey which I'm going to crack open soon, it's beautiful as it is. Baldchap said:

Unless you have an amazingly addictive personality, I don't see a reason to go tee total, I drink very rarely, maybe a glass of wine every few months when the missus buys a bottle, that's about it, but I do enjoy it when I have a drink, why would you want to go tee total if you drink so rarely? In my 32 years I've never watched a whole game of football, couldn't name 3 current premiership players either. To answer the OP, scones, or basically anything with raisins/sultanas in, wouldn't touch them with a barge pole since early childhood, and then I was coerced into trying a scone last year....what a revelation, I now bake my own, with cream and jam...heaven!

Since the day I was born I've had a passionate hatred for mushrooms and tomatoes.
I'm now 45 and recently got quite into tomatoes, especially those little baby ones that are like a little pocket of sweetness in a stir fry or stew. Still hate fking mushrooms, hateful little bds don't go anywhere near me.
Thinking about it, its been more than a few years since I've had a tea as well. Piss weak stuff for old ladies.
