This is what I like about messing around with Photoshop - you end up learning quite a bit.

Interestingly, I didn't even know about the blur removal tool - goes off to investigate it - thanks.... thumbup

In the meantime, another variation of playing with emboss, displacement, and hard light level types:

Yep - after a bit of searching, I can't find a specific blur removal tool either, although I'm still using CS6 as I'm not a fan of the subscription model, so maybe it's a later feature?

I'm aware of sharpening, smart sharpen, and unsharp mask, but not blur removal.

PP - given that you didn't use it, how did you clean up the image of Bobber's face?
