Do you think Barclays preached gay-pride to Robert Mugabe when they were one of his biggest funders?

Maybe they should feature him instead of the rainbow app?
When was that, exactly?

It was 2006 or 2007 from memory.

My App turned Barclays Blue today..
How dare they put a blue logo on my phone without my consent, I much preferred the old rainbow, going to delete the app until the rainbow comes back
Am I doing this right ?

If you change your logo to a rainbow though then all is forgiven. smile

It doesn't show in work, but I'm betting it's a suitable substitute. At least with mugabe as the logo it's honest.

The fact that the OP feels awkward purely and simply because he has a rainbow eagle icon on his phone shows how uncomfortable people like him feel about LGBT issues.

By doing what they have done Barclays (and other organisations) are promoting LGBTQ awareness
I'm pretty sure that " LGBTQ awareness" is already promoted enough to be honest - it's non-stop - and I'm perfectly "aware".

I couldn't really care less how people live their lives as long as they aren't harming anything, I just want to get on with my life in peace. I don't need it all in my face though.

It's just virtue signalling (there's a lot of it on this thread tbh).

How does a banking icon stop you getting on with your life in peace? In fact how does ANY “LGBTQ awareness” activity affect your life? I’m not LGBT or Q and I barely notice any “awareness” or “virtually signalling”, so I’m curious at to how it affects people so much that they feel sufficiently annoyed/upset to post about it on a thread. It’s like being annoyed at Love Island or Kim Kardashian…..

I don't wish to support corporate co-opting of Pride for their marketing.I support homosexuals by having sex with them - think I'm doing my part.
