Is the driver making 'whoosh' noises ?

That reminds me of a story regarding the famed US racing driver Cale Yarborough.
Apparently when they started putting in car cameras in the cars, the technicians reported that they were getting inteference on the soundtrack, like a humming noise. They checked the wiring and that was all okay and to spec, they checked the mount for the camera and that was fine, same goes for the camera.
It turns out that as we has driving round the ovals, Cale was immitating the engine noise as he was driving and this was the noise they could hear.
Can't remember which race it was but there is one from 1980 - i think - and if you can find it on youtube, then when they cut to his in car camera you can definitely hear it on the video
