I know!! I'm not doing that - I'm going to do a smorgasbord as that's light and picky/chilled.

Cheers, sorry to hear that, still 24 hours to go so this one might do the same, water off a ducks back though these days it comes with the territory, never take it to heart.
I should become a psychic or write a book on online dating excuses!

Two blue ticks on my whatsapp message Thur but no reply, so sent another this morning just confirming time and location, but already knowing where it was going, same two blue ticks within the hour, again no reply, just received the expected last minute excuse, finishing up with the vague "maybe another time"

The next stage is that their whatsapp profile pic vanishes overnight when they block your number.

Due another Hinge refresh I think, must remember not to use any of my better pics from my last banned account otherwise have to get yet another old phone!

Many just love the attention it seems or they just simply lose interest and stamina for another meet

Sorry Paul - that sucks. On the flip side it's not after spending £x. I've become almost convinced that such people are in loveless relationships that love to know that someone would want them - but won't push the button and actually move on.

That sucks! FWIW I've always turned the ticks off on Whatsapp, neither knows when/if the other's read a message

Cheers gents, I see it as a bullet dodged, and saved me a spending a few quid for it to go no where.

No idea what they get out of it, seem to enjoy the thrill of the chase then panic at the last minute.

It was nice thanks - we took a bottle of wine onto the beach, then went back to mine as I'd prepared some nibbles, listened to music whilst drinking more wine. In fairness she only had 2 small glasses so I don't know what happened to the rest of the 2 bottles yikes. She's staying tonight which will be fun.

I live down on the beach in Wales now - I was in Bath. Makes a beach stroll followed by getting straight home a nice date night - and cheap.

I'm finding throwing a sharing board together a good option lately - cooking skills needed are zero, time management skills needed are zero - and it's nice to graze.

I'll be over by 6. But I don't shag on the first date.
